Flowering Cherry 'Accolade'

The Flowering Cherry Accolade is an ideal choice for smaller gardens, offering an elegant spread of large, semi-double pink flowers that open from darker buds. These stunning blossoms cover the tree in spring, creating a delightful display. In autumn, the mid-green leaves transform into a brilliant orange before falling, adding seasonal interest.

Flowering cherry trees, though related to edible cherries, are prized for their ornamental qualities, particularly their spring blossoms and vibrant autumn foliage. Many also feature attractive satiny bark, ensuring they remain visually appealing year-round. For the best blossom display, plant this tree in the sunniest spot of your garden.

Flowering Cherry Accolade is self-fertile, making it easy to grow. If planting isn't possible due to weather conditions, store the tree in a frost-free, airy space until ready for planting. Ensure the roots stay just moist by storing them in damp compost or heeling them into the ground temporarily.
